Our fundraising dinners, concerts and auctions bring the Anglo-Portuguese community together for a good cause. Every ticket, bid and donation helps us promote Portuguese language and culture in the UK.

All proceeds support the Ann Waterfall Student Award and the Society's charitable activities.

Description

The Executive Committee seeks to put a greater emphasis on Culture, Education & Diplomacy. This joint event with The John Adams Society, the Alumni Association of the US Embassy Exchange programmes in the UK, is our first event in the Diplomacy arena. The purpose of this event is to promote discussion and debate on the importance of cyber challenges with regards diplomacy, and how they can be addressed through National Strategies and Bilateral Co-operation Agreements.

This, the first of many joint events to come, aims to broaden the reach of the Society, building bridges of friendship with similar organisations.
